Language Club for Older Adults
Learning a new language can support brain health by engaging multiple areas of the brain and strengthening memory. Based on this understanding, we offer group-based language learning sessions designed to be engaging and accessible.
The program focuses on spoken language for everyday communication and is offered both online and in person. In addition to language learning, the sessions create a welcoming social space where participants can meet others, practice together, and build a sense of community.
Goal
Our goal is to ensure that participants including those facing memory challenges, can support their cognitive health while staying socially connected through accessible language learning.
