Every 68 seconds someone within Canada develops Alzheimer’s and 10 million baby boomers with develop Alzheimer’s within their lifetime. This number is progressively getting worse at a rapid rate. Without planning and a source of action being taken, these numbers will only multiply. We at the Memory Loss Foundation have taken it upon ourselves to take the necessary steps to help stop Alzheimer’s from becoming a financial burden on our economy, as well as bringing awareness to dementia and implementing vital Montessori Method treatment to dementia sufferers to stop the rapid growth of those developing dementia, before it is too late. The current economic consequences for dementia will be costing us a vast total of $37 billion within the next couple of years and increasing to a starling $153 billion by 2038 if we don’t take action now. The Memory Loss has created a plethora of ways to fix this situation by starting at the source of the problem, but we need your help to make it happen.
